Refund policy

 Our Return Policy in short;

Contact Desi Posh before returning any items. Email us at Admin@desiposh.com, please allow 48 hours for a response.

You can return the product within 14 days of delivery, your first day begins on the day you receive the item and we must have received the return package on the 15th day. The product must be in new condition, in its original packaging. We reserve the right to charge a 10% repackaging fee on any returns not in their original condition, items that need to be pressed and repackaged and if items are not returned in their original packaging. If the product is ruined or used the product shall not be refunded. Make sure to include contact information with the return and if possible, please provide us with a tracking number. Desi Posh suggests you get a receipt and a package ID for the return from the delivery service, as it makes it easier to follow the return shipment if needed.

Desi Posh will make a refund of eligible returns back into the card or method you paid with. Any sale items returned or returns outside our returns window we will refund via a store credit. Refunds can take upto 28 working days to complete in busy periods ie around Eid times and Christmas.

Any items bought before Eid and received back after Eid (in original unworn condition) will be refunded as a credit on your account.

We do not offer exchanges or returns on Sale items.

There is a zero tolerance policy for the return of earrings due to hygiene reasons as all our earrings are pierced products. This includes tikka sets and necklace sets as they both contain earrings. 

You can return the product within 14 days of delivery with the first day being the day you receive your item (excluding the exceptions above).

The product must be in new condition.
Up to 15% of stones, beads, tassels or pearls missing on one outfit will be deemed acceptable and not termed as faulty.  Many of the tassels are stitched in such a way that they are easy to remove and reattach for washing purposes, this is not a fault but designed in this way (please always keep the little tassel bits so they can be reattached). Some tassels and laces may vary at times than the ones pictured and this is due to variations in batches or certain laces not available at the time of manufacturing, please allow for such differences. 

All our outfits are to be dry cleaned only and should not be washed in washing machines due to the intricate embroidery and delicate material used. Any item not dry cleaned will not be covered under our returns policy. 

Product colour on some outfits may vary slightly due to photographic lighting or your device settings thus this is not classed as a fault on the outfit. 

Sale items may have damaged areas, have beads or stones missing or have a clutch bag or other accessories missing which is why they have been reduced. 

To avoid any Customs charges please clearly mark the package 'RETURNED GOODS'.

Want to switch to another size of the same product?
Unfortunately we don’t offer exchanges at the moment but you are welcome to return for a refund and order your replacement. (We do not offer free returns)

Transport Damage
If the product is lost or you, upon receiving, notice that the item has been damaged during transport, you should immediately report this to us.

Damaged Goods
Please check all products received within 24 hours of receipt. If the product is faulty in any way please email us at admin@desiposh.com and we will either offer a return and refund or a return and resend a new item. We do not offer refunds on worn items that have become damaged due to wear and tear. Please note we would require the damaged item back before we can send you a replacement or you can come instore to exchange. (We do not offer free returns)

Unclaimed Packages
For packages that are not cashed at your post office within 14 days, Desi Posh reserves the right to charge you a handling fee to cover return shipping and freight companies' administrative costs.

Cancelling an order
It is not possible to cancel an order once an order is placed.  For cancelled orders we will minus a 10% restocking fee from your refund.  Any items returned when you have already notified us of your intention to cancel will incur a 10% restocking fee to cover our costs.

If a package is unclaimed you might have to pay a handling fee.

Any package lost at the end of its journey to the customer will only ever be refunded onto a Desi Posh gift card or you may claim from the delivery company.  We are not responsible for packages lost in secure flats or customer safe places.

Return Policy

Please contact Desi Posh before returning any items.

It is appropriate that the consumer controls the delivery to verify that this is accurate and error free. At the complaint, the customer contacts Desi Posh and gives information relevant and the reason for complaint.

Returning A Package
If a returned item is shipped international, please clearly mark the package 'RETURNED GOODS', to avoid any Customs charges.

Desi Posh is NOT responsible for any return Customs charges made. Any charges incurred are the responsibility of the customer.

Desi Posh will not cover any return postage costs in any circumstances this includes faulty items. Desi Posh will only refund the item price this will never include delivery costs.

If you were eligible for Free Delivery when buying the goods, Desi Posh will minus the cost of delivering your parcel from the refund amount. Refund amount will never be more than the amount originally paid.

Your statutory rights are not affected.
